Katrina is the eventing instructor at Giordano Farm. She has loved horses all her life but started to seriously ride when she was 18. Since then she has accomplished many things such as earning her;

Associates Degree in Equine Management & Nutrition

Bachelors Degree in Adult & Occupational Education (Agricultural Science)

Instructors Certificate from the University of New Hampshire

Instructors Certificate from ARIA (American Riding Instructors Association) for Dressage and Novice level Eventing.

Animal Science Teacher for 11 years; 10 years at Pinkerton Academy, Derry, NH

FFA Adviser for 11years

Pinkerton Academy Equestrian Coach since 2004; 2009 Southern District Champs

Riding Instructor / Horse trainer for the Hampton Mounted Police Unit

Instructors and Clinicians she has worked with;

Michele Routhier at MRF Dressage; Pamela Goodrich; Jerilyn Nieder; Verne Batchelder; Janet Briggs and Laurie Chapman-Bosco. Katrina continues to take lessons and attend clinics. “I will be taking lessons as long as I possibly can. Riding is a lifelong learning endeavor, which is what makes this sport so exciting. You can never stop learning!”

Lessons and Training Information

Lesson rates are as follows;

$35.00 for a ½ hour

$50.00 for a weekly scheduled hour

$55.00 for an hour

$45.00 for 1 training hour (If you don’t have time to ride your horse Katrina will work your horse for you; either ground training or riding with an evaluation process)

Winter hours Wednesday & Thursday evenings 4-6 (last scheduled lesson at 6p.m.) September to June

Summer hours Monday through Friday 1-5 and Saturdays by appointment. June through August

Shows and Clinics Check with Katrina for the new show season dates. Coaching is available for a fee of $35.00.
